High business taxes, ever more complicated state permit processes, and the maze of business regulations have left a bright red line around our state, telling potential job providers to look elsewhere.  Despite Governor Granholm’s efforts to use the Michigan Economic Development Corporation to reward her friends and favored projects, the message that entrepreneurs and job providers are getting is that Jennifer Granhom’s Michigan is unfriendly to business.

As a small business owner and fiscal conservative, Rodney C. Nanney understands how to grow Michigan businesses and attract new jobs to our state.

As a state legislator, he will do everything possible to ensure that our children and grandchildren do not have to leave the state to find economic opportunities.

• Protecting Michigan’s borders and international crossing points, and addressing the issue of illegal immigration in an effective way
